A Syrian director, born in Damascus. His circumstances did not allow for study, so he began his artistic path without any academic base. His studies were personal and experiential, and his early contact with Syrian artists greatly aided him in this process. In 1996, he began working in the field of advertising and was interested in learning to compose visual materials. At the end of 2011, he headed to Turkey, to continue his artistic career. He participated in a variety of films. In 2013, he completed his first film, My Name is Lam, which is a short promo film with the Play Foundation group for the children of Zaatari refugee camp. He also directed and wrote The Boy and the Sea (2016).
