Salma El-Sharkawy |
American actress and producer, born in Mason City, Iowa. She went to Mason City School, where she started taking part in children's theater in the fourth grade. She double majored in political science and drama at the University of Iowa after graduating from Mason High School in 1995. She relocated to Los Angeles shortly after to further her acting career. She is known for her role in Hollywood Dreams (2006), where she received the Best Actress Award at the 2008 Fargo Film Festival. Among her notable works are Irene in Time (2009), Just 45 Minutes from Broadway (2012), and The M Word (2014).
