An independent Iraqi director, producer and writer, born in the city of Nasiriyah. He obtained a bachelor's degree from the Department of Cinema and Television at the College of Fine Arts, University of Baghdad. He started his career as an editor on many Iraqi films, in addition to his expertise in design, sound effects and sound design. His short film "Warm Night" won many awards from Arab and international festivals. His credits include the films Five O'Clock and My Name Is Maryam. |
