She also obtained a master's degree in film directing from Griffith University, Australia in 1999. She began...Read more writing poetry in the late seventies and did not move to publish in the local press in the UAE until the early eighties. She published her first book, Evening of Heaven in 1989 and then continued her poetry collections. She is known for the movie Honey, Rain & Dust (2016).
