An American writer, born on October 17, 1980, in Liberty City, Miami, Florida, USA. In 2010, his play, "The Brother/Sister Plays", was nominated for the Joseph Jefferson Award for Production of a Play-Large. In 2013, he became a MacArthur Foundation Fellow. He graduated from the Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago, the New World School of the Arts in Miami, and the Yale School of Drama. His credits include Moonlight (2016), David Makes Man (2019), and High Flying Bird (2019).
