A Turkish actress, born on July 15, 1977 in Istanbul, Turkey to the famous Turkish politician Ostun Ergodar. She graduated from US Escudar High School and joined the theater department at Franklin and Marshall University. She studied drama at The New School, a private university. She joined the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art of Shakespeare. She worked in several European films and mastered the English language which promoted her success. She became famous in Turkey and the Arab world through the series 1001 gece (2001). She presented more than ten plays, most of which were in English. She is known for Behzat Ç.: Bir Ankara Polisiyesi (2010), Shooting Johnson Roebling (2007) and Behzat Ç.: Seni Kalbime Gömdüm (2011).
