He is an American screenwriter and director, born on September 24, 1952 in Danville, United States. His career began in 1982 working extensively in features and television and has directed episodes of Everwood, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The X-Files, as well as many other shows. He directed the romantic comedy The Personals (1982), the western comedy Wagons East (1994), and the television film Flight 93 (2006).
