His career began in 1982 working extensively in features and television and has directed episodes of Everwood, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The X-Files, as well as many other shows. He directed the romantic comedy The Personals (1982), the western comedy Wagons East (1994), and the television film Flight 93 (2006).
