A Lebanese writer and director, born in 1965 in Beirut. He studied at the Lebanese University and the Institut national de l'audiovisuel in Paris. His film We Were Communists (2010) won the Black Pearl Award for Best Arab Documentary Film at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival and participated in Venice Film Festival's Orizzonti section. He is known for A Maid for Each (2016), Merely a Smell (2007) and Sheoeyin Kenna (2010). |
