Dalia Saad |
An American actress, born in Chicago, Illinois, on August 3, 1923. She began her artistic life in the late forties working on radio programs, in addition to her work in Broadway theaters, and presented her first film, Adam's Rib, in 1949. She later joined the cast of the series Make Room for Daddy (1953-1956), for which she was nominated for three Emmy Awards. Her most notable work includes Adam's Rib (1949), The Asphalt Jungle (1950), and Singin' in the Rain (1952), for which she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Hagen received a star on the Walk of Fame in 1960. She died on August 29, 1977, in Los Angeles, California, of throat cancer.
