A Japanese singer and actor, born in Tokyo and raised in Mino, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. He began his first steps towards acting when one of his relatives sent him a form to register in an agency specializing in training talents. After that, he joined a group called The Skate Boys, a group of dancers. He also joined the band SMAP. Kimura played the lead role in the series Asunaro Hakusho. In 1996, SMAP began presenting the television program SMAP x SMAP, which hosted many Japanese celebrities and celebrities from outside Japan as well. In 2000, Kimura announced his engagement to actress Shizuka Kudo. During the third millennium, Kimura presented the series Good Luck!! and the series Hero. Kimura was also nominated for an award for the first time in the Cannes International Film Festival through the film 2046 (2004).
