He is the forty-fourth president of the United States of America from 2009 to 2017 and is the first president of African descent to reach the White House. He graduated from Columbia University in 1983 from the Department of Political Science and International Relations. He later studied law at Harvard University and graduated in 1991. He won the Nobel Peace Prize for the year 2009 for his efforts in strengthening international diplomacy and cooperation between people. Moreover, he won two Grammy Awards; the first of which was in 2006 for the book Dreams from My Father, and the other was in 2008 for the book The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream. |
