An American writer, born in New York, USA. He began drawing and designing cartoon characters when he was sixteen years old. He worked with illustrator Max Fleischer in producing the cartoons Betty Boop and Popeye. He then established his own advertising agency. He was also known for drawing comic characters such as the Green Lantern and The Atom, and drew gag cartoons for publications such as Esquire and The Saturday Evening Post. He's known for The Flash (2023). He died on November 13, 2004.
