He starred in two Agatha Christie productions, Evil Beneath the Sun (1982) and Murder on the Orient Express (1974). He also appeared in A Man for All Seasons (1966), Young Winston (1972), and The Dogs of War (1980). He died on May 7, 1987, in London from leukemia.
