A British screenwriter and director, born on December 2, 1927 in North Wales, United Kingdom. He was educated at Ewell Castle School and began his film career at the age of 16, working as a production assistant, after which he joined Norman's Film Services. The opportunity of working as a third assistant director helped him to work in Exclusive Studios during World War II. He then moved to Hollywood, where his writing career included Whoever Slew Auntie Roo? (1972), The Legacy (1978) and Phobia (1980), as well as episodes of TV series such as Cannon (1971) Banacek (1972), and Kolchak: The Night Stalker (1974). He died on August 19, 2011 in London, England.
