An American screenwriter, director and actor, born in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. He joined the US Navy, left the service in 1908, and decided to work in the theater. He appeared in more than forty short films between the years 1911 and 1914. He made several films with Universal by the 1940s. Among his credits are Scared to Death, The Great Secret, and Fighting Through. He died of a heart attack on October 15, 1950. |
