    A British actor and model, born in Westminster in 1986. He studied at Lee Strasberg Institute of Theater and Film. He started his career in 2007 with his small role in the mini series The Time of Your Life. He gained wide fame after his role in the horror series The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor, in addition to his work in the movie The Invisible Man.

    Oliver Mansour Jackson-Cohen is an English actor born in Westminster, London. His mother is an English fashion designer and his father is her business partner from an Egyptian family that moved to France in the 1950s. Jackson-Cohen attended French school at the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle in London which explains his fluent French speaking. At the age of 19, he dropped out of university to pursue an acting career. He worked at a florist shop while attending the Youngblood Theater Company at weekends. In 2007, he played a small part in the British soap opera, Hollyoaks, that has been broadcasting since 1995 and also appeard in the ITV series, The Time of Your Life (2007). In 2008, he appeared in 8 episodes of the costume drama series, Lark Rise to Candleford (2008). In 2010, he appeared in the American romantic comedy film, Going the Distance (2010). Jackson-Cohen starred in the 8-episode miniseries, World Without End (2012), and was cast as journalist, Jonathan Harker, in the NBC horror series, Dracula (2013-14). In 2014, he took the role of Misha in the film adaptation of Shamim Sarif’s novel, Despite the Falling Snow (2014) which is set in two time periods: the 1950s in Moscow during the Cold War and in 1992 between Moscow and London after the USSR collapse. He also played the role of Duke of York during the Great Fire of London that took place in 1666 in the four-part miniseries, The Great Fire (2014). He starred in the film, The Healer (2015); the American fantasy series, Emerald City (2017) and the Netflix supernatural horror series, The Haunting of Hill House (2018). When he moved to New York, Jackson-Cohen studied with Michael Luggio at the Malisa Theatre Academy. Jackson-Cohen believes that the terrifying details in horror films may be relatable to people’s suffering in real life, particularly with child abuse.
