A German actress, born in Barmen, Germany. Her first stage appearance was at the Municipal Theater in Rheden in the fall of 1933. She subsequently performed in shows in Düsseldorf, Osnabrück, and Oldenburg. In 1937, she joined the Volksbühne troupe in Berlin. She appeared in post-war German films, including Marriage in the Shadows (1947), The Rats (1955), Creature with the Blue Hand (1967), and the James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969). She died in West Berlin, West Germany. |
