He graduated from Wesleyan University and studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He made his Broadway debut in 1927. Also, he played various musical instruments. He participated in The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948), Stand Up and Fight (1939), Torchy Blane in Chinatown (1939), and Smart Blonde (1937). |
