Also, he won an Academy Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and two Golden Globe Awards for Best Supporting Actor. He participated in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962), The Killers (1946), For the Love of Mary (1948), and A Double Life (1947). He died on May 9, 1985, in St. Erne's Sanatorium, Inglewood, California, USA. |
