Dalia Saad |
An American actress, born on October 20, 1882, in Brooklyn, New York. She trained as an opera singer and actress as a teenager, after which she began performing on stage in the United States and Europe. She spent her early career on stage, then collaborated with the Marx Brothers in the late 1920s in the theatrical productions of The Cocoanuts, and Animal Crackers, and later appeared in the screen versions of them in 1929 and 1930 respectively. She also appeared in other Marx Brothers' films, such as A Night at the Opera (1935), and A Day at the Races (1937). She died on March 6, 1965 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.
