An American actress, born in Los Angeles, California. She studied at Hyde Park High School, graduating in 1927. She spent two years at the University of Chicago, where she took part in theatrical activities. Among her credits are Becky Sharp (1935), Souls at Sea (1937), and I Walked with a Zombie (1943). She died on March 6, 2004.
