An American screenwriter and actor, born on August 10, 1885, in the United States. He was the brother of actor Tom Herbert. Hugh Herbert wrote more than 150 plays and sketches. In the thirties, he participated as an actor in many serious roles. Among his works are Hollywood Hotel (1937), Kansas City Princess (1934), and We're in the Money (1935). He died on March 12, 1952, in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA. |
