An Iranian writer, whose original name is Gholam Hossein Saedi. He was born in Tabriz Province, Iran. He was a psychiatrist and writer under the pseudonym "Gohar Morad". He published 8 collections of short stories, 5 novels, 3 translated works on psychology, and several printed...Read more plays. Many of his theatrical texts were translated and presented as embodied theatrical works. He was arrested by SAVAK forces and imprisoned for a whole year with torture, then he was forcibly escaped to France via Pakistan after the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979. He died in Paris in 1985 and was buried in the Père Lachaise Cemetery.
