An Iranian writer, born in Tabriz Province, Iran, as Gholam-Hossein Sa'edi. He was a psychiatrist and writer under the pen name Gohar Morad or Gowhar Murad. He published 8 collections of short stories, 5 novels, 3 translated works on psychology, and several printed plays. Many of his plays were translated and presented as embodied theatrical works. He was arrested by the SAVAK forces and imprisoned for a whole year with torture, then he forcibly escaped to France via Pakistan after the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979. He died in Paris in 1985 and was buried in the Père Lachaise Cemetery.
