His artistic career began in his early teens on stage, and he appeared on screen in the movie Chu-Chin-Chow (1923). He moved to Hollywood, appearing in several films such as Charlie Chan in Egypt (1935), Piccadilly (1929), It Happened One Night (1934) and The Farmer's Wife (1928). He died on January 10, 1939, in Sierra Madre, California, USA, from tuberculosis. |
