Salma El-Sharkawy |
British actor, born in Bombay, British India. He attended Bedford School and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Before starring in British films in 1934, he made his stage debut in London in 1927. He was a member of the Royal Army during World War II and rose to the rank of lieutenant colonel. His works include The King's Pirate (1967), Savage Justice (1967), The Sandpiper (1965) and Hell of Borneo (1964). He died on March 4, 1981, in California, USA, from cancer. |
