A director and author, born in Trenčín, Slovakia, on October 31, 1980. After studying at the Animation and Documentary departments, she received her Ph.D. from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Bratislava. Her first feature film, "Made in Ashes", represented Slovakia in the Academy...Read more Awards for Best Non-English Language Film. It was shown in many festivals, including the Turin Festival, and won several awards. Besides directing short films, she has also directed documentaries for television, including “The Blues for Unmarried Mothers” in 2014. Little Harbour won Best Film in the Ajyal section competition at the 2016 Berlin International Film Festival.
