Selar Sabu was an Indian actor, born in Karapur, Mysore, British India, on January 27, 1924. He made his debut through the movie Elephant Boy (1937) when he was at the age of 13. Sabu is best known for his role in the fantasy film The Thief of Bagdad (1940), as well as Arabian Nights (1942) and Jaguar (1956). Sabu died on December 2, 1963, in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, California, United States. |
