Ann Robinson was born in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, on May 25, 1929. Her taught her to ride horses when she was three years old. She practiced acting in elementary school plays, and attended Hollywood High School, where her fondness for theatrical acting grew. Her skills in horse riding led to her first professional job as a stunt performer in films, such as performing stunts in place of Shelley Winters in Frenchie (1950). Ann Robinson also appeared on the cinema and television screens in supporting roles. Her last television appearance was in The New Adam-12 (1990) and her last film was The Last Page of Summer (2020). Among her most notable work: The War of the Worlds (1953), Imitation of Life (1959), Midnight Movie Massacre (1988), and War of the Worlds (2005).
