An American actress and director, born and raised in New York. She studied fine art at the University of Southampton. Her feature directing debut was Yelling to the Sky (2011), which follows a young girl’s struggle in high school. She developed the film through the Directors and Screenwriters Sundance Institute Labs and was awarded several titles, such as an Auerbach Fellow, a Cinereach Fellow, a Maryland Fellow, and a Tribeca Fellow. She is best known for Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019), The Red Line (2019), and Dawn.
