An American actress and singer, born on January 16, 1919, in Brooklyn, New York. She appeared with Xavier Cugat's orchestra in 1940 and participated in a number of films in the 1940s. She is best known for The Big Wheel (1949), Week-End at the Waldorf (1945), Love Laughs at Andy Hardy (1946), and Joe Palooka in the Big Fight (1949). She died on December 17, 2010, in a hospital in Pasadena, California, United States, at the age of 91.
