Tommy Noonan was a a comedy genre film performer, screenwriter, and producer, born in Bellingham, Washington, USA, on April 29, 1921. Tommy married two times and had six children. Tommy Noonan studied at New York University and began his artistic career in 1934 with the formation of a private experimental theater in cooperation with his half-brother John Ireland. He made his first cinematic appearance in the movie Boys Town (1938), after which he became famous for his roles in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953), Promises!...Promises! (1963), A Star Is Born (1954), and I Shot Jesse James (1949). He died on April 24, 1968, in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, of a malignant brain tumor.
