James Craig was born in Nashville, Tennessee, USA on February 4, 1912. In 1940, James Craig signed on with MGM, with which he presented several films such as Kismet (1944) and Our Vines Have Tender Grapes (1945). He served in the US Air Force during World War II. After the war, Craig focused on television for several years, then worked in real estate. His most notable work includes Kitty Foyle (1940), The Devil and Daniel Webster (1941), and Seven Miles from Alcatraz (1942). He died in Santa Ana, California, on June 27, 1985.
