British dancer and actor, born on May 26, 1925, in Tunbridge Wells, United Kingdom. He attended Skinners School in Tunbridge Wells and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He began his artistic career in 1942 and toured India and Burma for the productions of Cometh Kenneth Horn. He then moved to the cinema in 1953. Among his works: Frenzy (1972), Travels with My Aunt (1972 ) and Gangs of New York (2002). He died on February 6, 2017 in London. |
