A French actress, born in Courbevoie, France, to a professor father and a director mother of the Ecole Normale Supérieure. She began her career on stage, and made her film debut in 1949 in the film Les Dieux du dimanche, followed by works such as Cent francs par seconde (1952), Chaque jour a son secret (1958), and La marraine de Charley (1959). She died on April 24, 1988, in Paris, France, at the age of 84.
