An Emirati chemical engineer and a writer who has published two collections of short stories, "Faces of a Human" and "A Bird in a Fish Tank", in addition to novels. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the American University of Sharjah. She also obtained a diploma as a certified graphology trainer from the International Academy of Handwriting Analysis in France. After graduating from university, she worked at Dubai Aluminum Company (DUBAL) and then moved on to the field of advertising. Her short story, I Am the Teapot, was adapted into a play that represented the UAE at the fifth Gulf Festival for Art and Literature in 2016. She's known for Ghafah (2017).
