Tommy Kirk was an American actor, born in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, on December 10, 1941, as Thomas Harvey Kirk. He began acting at the age of 13 by standing on the Pasadena Theater in place of his older brother Joe, and a Hollywood agent discovered him and helped him appear in more plays at the same Pasadena theater, and also on television, to be picked up by a company representative. His most important works are: Babes in Toyland (1961), Swiss Family Robinso (1960), Old Yeller (1957), and The Absent Minded Profesor (1961).
