An American actor, born on August 18, 1910, in New Orleans, USA. He was discovered by Elia Kazan in a theater production in New Orleans to enter Hollywood films in the 1950s. He is best known for Shane, Paths of Glory, and Sweet Smell of Success. He died on March 19, 1987 in the United States.
