An American actor, born in Poughkeepsie, on July 3, 1914. He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960 for his television work.He got married three times and had no children with any of them. He graduated from Brown University in Rhode Island, was an Olympic athlete during his college years. His first acting debut was with Back Door to Heaven in 1939. His most important works are: The Loved One (1965), King of the Rocket Men (1949) and Footsteps in the Night (1957). He died in Cocoa Beach, Florida on August 19, 1988. |
