An American actress who was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, on July 5, 1927. Beverly Tyler most important roles are in: Best Foot Forward (1943), Musical Comedy Time (1950), and Big Town (1950). Beverly Tyler sang as a child on the radio, then her mother took her to Hollywood, where MGM signed with her at the age of 14, and she made her debut through the movie The Youngest Profession (1943). Despite her ability and skill in singing, MGM did not promote this talent. Tyler returned to the screen in 1950 with Mickey Rooney in the movie The Fireball (1959), but the light romantic roles limited her to supporting roles. She died on November 23, 2005 in Reno, Nevada, from a pulmonary embolism.
