An English actor, born on 11 March 1923 in London. He grew up in Yorkshire and was educated at Ratcliffe College. He began acting on stage at the age of 16. His acting career spanned over six decades beginning in 1939. He appeared in several film and TV productions, including Autumn Crocus (1952), The White Carnation (1956), A Room in Town (1970), and Frankenstein (1984). He died of Parkinson's disease on 28 May 2009 in London. |
