An American actor who was born in New York City, on December 6, 1928 as Robert Jack Stein and died in Los Angeles, California, on July 31, 1980 of brain cancer. Bobby Van is a a singer, dancer, and actor who enlivens any film he is involved in, and unfortunately, he appeared in the 1950s, when the movies were on the decline. Bobby Van was born to parents who present vaudeville shows. He studied at New York City School and took music lessons. He presented shows on radio and television, which drew the attention of Broadway, after which he signed with MGM. He is known for his roles in: Kiss Me Kate (1953), and Lost Horizon (1973).
