Maryam Nouhy |
An English playwright, born in London, England. He began his career as an actor at the age of 19. From the year 1976 to 1881 he was a member of Henry Irving's theater company. He wrote his first play in 1877. Seven years later, after having written 15 more plays, three of which had become very successful, he quit acting to pursue writing full-time. His writing debut was with The Second Mrs. Tanqueray (1914). His other famous works include Mid-Channel (1920) and Sweet Lavender (1920). He died on November 23, 1934 in London.
