An American actress, born in Miami, Florida, on November 15, 1914, and died in Los Angeles, California, on June 20, 1989, from pneumonia and respiratory failure. Donna Drake is best known for his roles in Star Spangled Rhythm (1942), Kansas City Confidential (1952), and Beyond the Forest (1949). Donna Drake is an African-American actress, dancer, singer, and showrunner, who, in order to support her career, claimed to be of Mexican origin to belong to the white race. At the age of five, Donna Drake learned to play musical instruments, and after attending school, she performed shows in cabarets which drew the attention of Broadway. She signed with Paramount Company, and her first work was Alonma of the South Seas (1941). She also had some roles in television shows until she retired in 1957 due to heart disease, epilepsy, and some emotional problems.
