A British singer and actress, born in Tottenham, on April 14, 1933. She studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts RADA in London in 1951. She was nominated for a Golden Laurel Award in 1970 for the movie Oliver! (1968) as Best New Face. In 1968, She got married to the actor and producer Bernard Rich, and they had a daughter. Among her most important works are: Once Upon a Mattress (1964), The Great Mouse Detective (1986), Arnold (1973), and Oliver! (1968). |
