Toqa Hesham |
An American playwright, novelist, and screenwriter, born on January 5, 1908, in New York, United States. He studied at the University of Pennsylvania and entered journalism as a book and music reviewer, arriving in Hollywood in 1938 after being hired to write the screenplay for his own story Fast Company. He was nominated for a Tony Award in 1964 as Best Author (Musical) along with his collaborator Noël Coward. Kurnitz is known for How to Steal a Million (1966), A Shot in the Dark (1964), and Hatari! (1962). He died on March 18, 1968, in Los Angeles, California, USA, of a heart attack.
