Faye is best known for her roles in Jezbel (1938), Our Town (1940), and The Children's Hour (1961). Bainter is a stage, film and television actress who started her career when she stood on stage at the age of 6 with the encouragement of her mother. Until 1912, where she stood on the Broadway stage. Faye Bainter became one of the the main pillars of the theater, offering her various shows between comedy and melodrama. She was 41 years old when MGM convinced her to work in the cinema, and her film debut was This Side of Heaven (1934).
