An American screenwriter, editor, and director, born on March 25, 1896, in Anderson, He attended high school in Los Angeles and began in 1913 film work as an assistant at Mack Sennett's studio.In 1926, he began working for Warner Brothers, and two years later he became a director. His directing debut was his film, Tracked by the Police (1927). He is best known for directing the movies The Spoilers (1942), and Kansas Raiders (1950). He died on April 3, 1965 in Hollywood in the United States due to a heart attack.
