His most important works are Flash Gordon (1936), Drums of Fu Manchu (1946), Angel on My Shoulder (1946), and It Happened Tomorrow (1944). George Cleveland spent 58 years on stage, on the movie screen, on television, and the radio. His first film appearance was in the movie The Thoroughbred (1930), and his works continued until they reached 186 works, the most famous of which was his role in his last work in the television series Lassie, in which he presented 116 episodes in three years before his death in Burbank, California, USA, on July 15, 1957, following a heart attack.
